Configure: Classroom
- The Classrooms module allows the user to select a specific room or area where events such as classes, workshops, or group sessions will be conducted. When configuring an event, a particular classroom can be selected and the event will show up on a Google calendar.
- This tutorial will cover how to configure the Classrooms module after it has been activated. For steps to activate Classrooms and link your Google account, click here.
- After activating Classrooms and linking your Google account, you can now configure the default classrooms. Classrooms cannot be configured "on the fly" while creating an event. Click Events from the Main Menu and select Classrooms under the Configurations menu to proceed.
- In the resulting screen, you will see all the configured/existing classrooms.
- To add a new classroom, click on the Add button on the lower right.
- Add the descriptive title of the classroom and indicate the capacity that the classroom can cater.
- Click save after indicating the name and capacity.
- You can edit the classroom's name and capacity by clicking on the Edit button on its right.
- After making the desired changes, click the same button on the lower right of the edit pop-up window.
- To delete an existing Classroom, you can click on the drop-down arrow beside the Edit button and click Delete.
- When creating an event, these configured classrooms will automatically be displayed on Step 3: Classroom. You can select the specific classroom where the event will take place.
- In the Google Calendar tab in Events, you can see the event and their assigned classrooms.
- You can click on the arrow next to Agenda to see each classroom's calendar. You can switch each calendar on/off to see event only to a specific classroom.
