Meal Planner
- The Meal Planner allows the user to select the food/menu items that will be delivered to each client on each meal delivery date.
- In order to use the Meal Planner for any particular date, there must be
- At least one meal client scheduled to receive meals on the date (the meal planner date is between the client’s scheduled start and scheduled end dates of service and the client has not indicated they wish to skip meal delivery on the date) (see this tutorial on managing client records) and
- packages (menu/food items) must be scheduled to be served/be available on that date (see this tutorial on configuring packages)
- The Meal Planner is managed from your Fundly Connect account. To begin, select Meal Planner from your Fundly CRM Main Menu or log into your Fundly Connect account and select select Meal Planner from the Main Menu (green button in the upper right hand corner).
- On the Meal Planner index screen, you will see the list of dates for which meals have already been planned/configured.
- For each date, you can view the food items planned for each client by clicking the drop down to the right of the date and selecting View Client.
- On the Client List for Meal Planner screen you will see a list of clients who are scheduled to receive meals on this date. To see the food items each one is scheduled to receive, click the drop down to the right and select View Packages.
- On the View Packages pop up screen, you can filter the list of items by item type (Main Menu items or Other Items). Click the Close button to close the pop up window.
- To see the list of Supplemental Products scheduled to be received by the client, choose View Supplemental Products from the drop down to the right.
- On the View Supplemental Products pop up screen, you can filter the list of items by item type (Ongoing or Occasional). Click the Close button to close the pop up window.
- To delete a client from the Meal Planner for that date, select Delete from the drop down menu.
- Click the Back button in the lower left hand corner to return to the Meal Planner Index screen.
- You can edit the planned/configured meals by clicking the drop down to the right of the date and selecting Edit.
- In Edit Meal Planner, you can configure meals for any clients who have not yet been configured (pending tab) or edit the planned meals and supplemental products of planned clients (planned successfully tab).
- Click the Back button in the lower left hand corner to return to the Meal Planner Index screen.
- To add a new Meal Planner schedule/date, click the blue Add button in the lower right hand corner.
- Select the pick up location, delivery date, and delivery shit from the drop down menus at the top of the screen and then click the blue Search button in the lower right hand corner. The location, date, and shifts populate from the Delivery Angel Volunteer Opportunity. See this tutorial on configuring/editing the Delivery Angel Volunteer Opportunity.
- If any clients scheduled for meal delivery on the selection date, shift, and location are found, the system will open the Meal Planner screen. If no clients are found that meet the criteria, you will need to use the Back button to return to the previous screen and then repeat step #15 and #16 above.
- The system will list all clients for whom meals need to be configured on the left.
- The tabs at the top of the left hand pane will track total number of clients for the date, # of clients for whom meal planning is configured, and # of clients for who meal planning is still pending.
- Click on one of the names in the list on the left to open up the Meal Planner for that client.
- Configure the client’s planned meal in the right hand pane. The list of Package Items and Other Items populates from Package Configuration (see this tutorial) and the Supplemental Products populate from the Supplemental Products Configurations (see this tutorial).
- Client’s dietary restrictions are listed at the top of the right hand pane.
- Begin by selecting package Main Menu items and Other Items. Adjust the servings if necessary by checking the box next to each item.
- Click the Supplemental Products tab to add Ongoing or Occasional Supplemental Products to the client’s meal plan for that date. Any items configured on the client’s record will automatically be checked off. You can uncheck scheduled items if they should be skipped on this date, or add items not already checked.
- Once you are done configuring the client’s meal planner, click the blue Save button in the lower right hand corner to save your work without proceeding to the next name on the list or Save & Next to save your work and proceed to the next name on the list.
- The tally at the top of the left hand pane will update to show that the client has been planned successfully and a green check mark will appear next to the client’s name to show that meal planning for that client for the date has been completed.
- Repeat steps 20-26 for each of the clients listed in the meal planner for the selected date. When you are finished, the # of Pending clients should equal 0.
- Once all clients have been scheduled for meals on the date, use the Back button in the lower right hand corner or use the navigation menu on the left to return to the Meal Planner Index screen.
