Fundraising: Configuration: Premiums
- This tutorial will cover how to configure premiums.
- Premiums are tangible benefits that contacts can receive from your organization, often as a response to making a donation. Examples of premiums are keychains, coffee mugs, certificate of appreciation, lunch with the executive director, etc.
- To configure premiums, start by clicking on Fundraising on the Main Menu to open the fundraising sub-menu and then click Premiums under the Configurations heading.
- This will take you to the Premiums Index screen, where you will see a list of all of your currently configured Premiums.
- To edit or delete an existing premium, click on the drop down to the right of the premium. You cannot delete a premium once the premium has been triggered/queued up for a donor.
- To create a new premium, click on the Add Premium button in the lower right.
- In the resulting screen provide a unique Code and a Description for this premium, such as "Mug" or "Pink Mug."
- Next, indicate the Fair Market Value of the premium/item.
- You can upload an image of the item as well by clicking in the image uploader box.
- When you have finished configuring the Premium, click on the Save button in the lower right.
- See "Donation Premiums Part II: Configure Premium Rules" for how to configure the criteria for which donations qualify for premiums.
- See "Donation Premiums Part III: Premium Fulfillment" for how to track which donors are eligible for premiums and for managing premium fulfillment.
