The one-time fee for each plugin is for our technical team to install the plugin on your website and covers maintenance and upgrades for the life of the plugin. Generally, our technical team will install the plugin on your website, but clients can opt to install the plugin themselves (the one-time fee, however, remains the same in either case).
Requirements
Before we can install the donation, membership, or event plugin(s) (or send you the plugins if you are installing them yourself), you must completed the following steps:
- Set up a LumaPay/Stripe account for processing credit card transactions
- Linked your LumaPay/Stripe account to your CRM (see this section of the support library for Stripe tutorials)
- Installed a valid SSL certificate on your website (see this tutorial) and all CRM pages forcefully run on SSL only
- On the check out page, the pay by credit card option will not be displayed if the URL doesn't have SSL
- Site PHP must be 5.4 or higher
- No server-side caching for all pages having a fundlycrm shortcode
- fundlycrm uses the PHP session to store cart data which may be impacted by caching
- please note: HOSTED/"Managed" Wordpress accounts employ server side caching that is incompatible with our WordPress Plug-Ins. If you have a GoDaddy/Sucuri/Pantheon/Hostgator/Blue Host or other provider "MANAGED" WordPress account, we recommend switching to a regular CPanel account or using our Pages feature for website integration.
- Numerous optimization plug-ins utilize caching. Our plug-in pages must be exempted from these plug-ins in those plug-ins' "exclude" lists.
- For a full list of compatibility issues, see this FAQ.
- For event invites and account page, we store page URL in the CRM database to redirect the user to event OR account page
- If any change is made in site event or account page URL, please, inform us to update the respective invites page link
- No javascript conflict with other site javascript
- Plugin style should be matched with site style - if your site doens't use a dynamic/scaling template (auto resize/scale depending on screen width), then CRM pages will not be dynamic on your site. You will need to change your site template to one that is dynamic
Purchasing Plugins
If you would like to purchase one or more of our WordPress Plugins, please contact us at support@fundly.com. Include the following information in your WP Plugin purchase request:
- Your organization/account name
- Type of plugin(s) you would like installed (donation, event, membership, contact us, newsletter)
- Wordpress site URL
- Wordpress admin credentials (username and password; if creating login credentials specifically for us, be sure to assign the username admin permissions)
- WP site FTP credentials
- If purchasing donation plug in, which Fund (if you have more than one) donations via the plugin should be assigned to (you can update this anytime from the WP admin panel)
Once we receive your request for the WP Plugins, we schedule the installation and provide you with the timeline. Turnaround is generally 2-5 business days.
Updating WordPress Plugins
If we make enhancements or added new feature to CRM plugins, we will inform this to you through email communication and will ask you to update the plugins. Normally, clients give us the admin credentials so we can take care of the future updates for them but if we do not your admin credentials for your site, we’re unable to initiate the update on our end. However, you can initiate the update from the Plugins page by following the below steps.
- Login to your WordPress admin account.
- On the right hand Menu Panel, click on Plugins.
- Under "Fundly CRM" you will see if the update is available with "Update now" option.
Generally WordPress shows update of the plugin on schedule under Fundly CRM. However, if it is not showing the update there, you can force update by following steps mentioned below:
- Login to website dashboard. (We're not provided credentials from customer)
- Click on Update submenu under dashboard.
- There must be a Check Again Button or URL which force to check all the latest version of WP plugins, themes, WP itself.
- Update selecting the checkbox against desire plugins or theme name.
If you have any questions about this, please let us know, and if you’d like us to take care of the update on our end, please provide us WordPress admin credentials.
