How to Export Your Data from NonProfitEasy (NPE)
Important Notice
As part of the NPE sunset process, clients will be able to export their data directly from the system through November 30, 2026.
We strongly recommend exporting and securely storing all data you may need in the future before this date.
Please note that the data export reports are comprehensive with the exception of custom data sets and DonorSearch data. Custom reports will need to be created for any non-default fields. Please contact our support team by emailing support@fundly.com if you have any questions about this process or need assistance.
The steps below explain how to export your data using the available Export Reports.

From the NPE Main Menu, click Reports. The Reports section contains a variety of standard and custom reports that can be used to view and export data from the CRM.

Within the Reports section, locate the Default Reports folder. Click the folder to expand it and display the available report categories. Default Reports contain pre-built reports provided by NPE and include several reports specifically designed for data exports.

Under Default Reports, locate and expand the Export Reports folder. This folder contains reports that are specifically designed to help you export various types of data from your NPE account.

Review the list of available Export Reports and select a report that contains data you would like to download.

Next to the report title, click the three-bar menu icon or right click on the report. From the menu that appears, select Export As. This will open the file format options.

Select the desired output file format for your export.
Available export formats include:
- Excel (.xlsx)
- PDF (.pdf)
- RTF (.rtf)
- CSV (.csv)

After selecting the file format, the system will begin generating the export file. Depending on the amount of data being exported, this process may take anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes.

Once complete, the export file will be downloaded on your device/computer. Look for recent downloads in your browser or the Downloads folder on your computer (depending on your download settings).
- Repeat the steps until you've exported all the data you need.
Additional Export Options
In addition to the reports available under the Export Reports folder, you may also export data from:
- Other reports located within the Default Reports folder
- Any custom reports created by your organization
The process to run those reports would be the same as above.
Access to Data After November 30, 2026
Direct access to export data from NPE will remain available through November 30, 2026.
After that date, if you require access to your organization's data, please submit a request by emailing:
Our Support Team will review your request and forward it to the appropriate technical team for processing. The technical team will then provide the available exported data to you.
Please note that fulfillment times may vary depending on the volume and complexity of the request.
Recommendation
We strongly encourage all organizations to export and securely store their data before November 30, 2026 to ensure immediate access to their information and avoid any delays associated with post-sunset data requests.
