Enhancements That You Requested!
With the release of a new build, users may experience some irregularities in their VolunteerEasy account such as the appearance of strange code, blank screens/modules, lack of word wrapping, etc. These issues are related to the need to clear your browser cache and/or to log out and back in to the system in order to get the new updates. If you continue to experience difficulties after clearing your cache and re-logging in, please email us at support@fundly.com.

For Volunteer Action Centers and Universities, as many of you have requested, we are no longer sending the newsletter to your partner organizations. You can forward/copy this as you see fit.

     Ability to Hide Default System Configuration

 

Do some of the default configuration in the system not apply to your organization? Wish you could control what is visible to volunteers online? Well, now you can!
 
You will be able to hide the default system configurations which are not applicable to your organization and display just the ones you want.
 
Categories where you are allowed to hide the default configuration:

  • Volunteer Configuration
    • Skills
    • Ethnicities
  • Opportunity Configuration
    • Causes
    • Activity Type
    • Age Groups Served
    • Age Groups Required
    • Population Served
  • Organizations Configuration (VAC/University)
    • Organization Type

 
To hide a configuration on the public site, go to the desired configuration page then click on the check mark next to the configuration. On the confirmation pop-up, click OK.

 

     Ability to Hide Social Media Signup / Login (University only)

 

Students can register and then log in using their Social Media accounts.
 
Universities now have the option to hide the social media options so that students can only register and login using their email address or single sign on.
 
 
     Managing Users (University only)

 

University accounts have a limited user capacity, which is based on their subscription plan. Accounts and is now moved under System Configurations which simplifies the process of adding users. 

 

         DID YOU KNOW???

We have revamped the Basic Opportunity flow.

Creating a basic opportunity is better than before. Opportunities with a flexible scheduling can now be created as a basic opportunity. Adding and managing dates and slots are now easier with the new flow and interface.
