Public Pages: Part II: Configure Donation Pages
- This tutorial will cover how to configure donation pages for Public Pages, within Fundly CRM.
- Starting from the Public Pages dashboard, to configure donation pages, click on the Configure Donation Pages button.
- On the Donation Pages configuration screen you will be able to create pages were contacts can donate to specific donation names and programs, or you can create a general donation page.
- When you create a General Donation Page, the system will place a Donate Now button on your Public Pages that will link to the general donation page.
- To create a General Donation Page click on the Create General Donation Page button.
- This will bring up the Create Donation Page screen where you will specify the Page Title as it will show in your Public Pages, and indicate the Donation Bucket that all donations from this page will be recorded under.
- If you desire to create a new Donation Name to record these donations, you may click on the Create New Gift Bucket(+) button to the right of the Gift Bucket field.
- Next, you may specify a message that contacts will see at the top of the donation page.
- Lastly you may allow donors to specify if their donation will be recorded in connection to a specific Program or Sub-Program.
- You may also assign these values manually for all donations made to you General Donation page.
- When you have finished setting up the General Donation Page, you may save and preview it using the Save & Preview (magnifying glass) button.
- To take the page live to you public pages site, click on Save & Publish and return to the Donation Pages list by clicking the Back to List(Black Arrow) button.
- If you wish to create donation pages for specific donation name or programs, click on the Create Donation Page button.
- The resulting Create Donation Page screen will have several differences from the General Donation Page screen.
- As an option you may set a Donation Goal for this donation page, that will allows contacts to see your organization’s progress toward a finite goal.
- Next, you will be able to provide additional details about the donation in the Details section for the donation page.
- These specific donation pages will be listed in the Donations menu item that that you may crate for Public Pages.
- Each donation page will receive a link on the Donations page, allowing contacts to select between different donation options.
- To import media displayed on the donation page you are creating, go to the Media section at the top right of the screen.
- Start by indicating the Path field for the media you will be uploading, indicating whether it will be an image or a link to a YouTube video.
- Next, for images, use the Type field to upload the image to be used from your computer.
- For YouTube videos, simply paste the URL for the video itself, which can be found on the YouTube video’s page.
- If you desire to add multiple images, you may do so by clicking the Add(+) button.
- In situations where you desire a particular video or image to be the default image shown, make sure to check the Default checkbox on the left.
- To remove media, click on the Remove(X) button for the appropriate item.
- As with the General Donation Page, click on Save & Publish when complete and ready to publish the page to your Public Pages.
- Returning the donation pages list, to unpublish a previously published page, click on the green Status button on the far right, for the page you wish to make inactive.
