Events: Creating Events Part II: Configure Event Tickets
- This tutorial will cover how to add, edit and delete event ticket registration from an event within Fundly CRM.
- Starting from the Add/Edit Event screen for the event you are working with, to add a new ticket registration type, click on the Add(+) button at Registration/Ticket Type section.
- This will open the Add New Registration/Ticket Type popup screen.
- Start by giving the ticket type a name that will accurately describe the registration type.
- To change the cost of the ticket from Free change the radio button selection for the Cost field, and enter the desired amount.
- If this individual ticket type will have a limit to the number that may be sold, indicate this amount in the Capacity field.
- Use the Registration Schedule section to indicate either the exact date or time before the event that ticket sales will start or end for this registration type.
- If you desire a registration type to allow for multiple people to attend with a single ticket indicate the group size in the Group Size field.
- The Registration Details field allows you to note any special requirements or restriction, or just a general description of the registration type.
- If you desire to put minimum or maximum number of tickets that may be registered at a single time, indicate this in the appropriate Registration Requirement fields.
- In situations where you wish to only allow cancelation up till a certain number of days before the event, the Allow Cancelation field permits you to indicate this information.
- Under certain situation you may not want a ticket registration type to appear on your website, and only allow it to be used internally, in which case mark the Do not display on public site check box.
- If you find that you use a particular registration type configuration often, or for almost all events, you may have the registration automatically configured for all new events by checking the ‘Add this to frequently use registration/ticket types” check box.
- When you have completed configuration of the registration ticket type, click Insert to add the ticket type and return to the Add/Edit Event screen.
- To edit a preexisting ticket registration type, click on the Edit(pencil) button to the left of the registration type entry.
- To delete a ticket registration type that has not yet been used, click on the Delete(X) button to the right of the ticket registration type.
- Once you have finished configuring registration types, and assuming there are no further changes you wish to make to the event, click the Save button.
