- This tutorial will cover how to add and remove volunteers from volunteer activities within Fundly CRM.
- Once you have created and configured your volunteer activities, Venues, schedules, and positions, you must now add in the contacts who will be volunteering for those activities.
- Start by moussing over the Volunteer Management menu header and clicking on Volunteer Management from the drop down menu that appears.
- This will bring you to the Volunteer Activities screen where you will find all your configured volunteer activities listed.
- In the column named Manage Volunteers, click on the checkmark icon that corresponds to the activity to which you would like to assign volunteers.
- This will open up the Add Volunteers tab on the Manage Volunteers screen for the activity in question.
- To add a volunteer to the activity start by clicking on the Volunteer field which will bring down a list of all Individual contacts in the system.
- As you type into this field, the list of contacts will decrease to match the name you are entering.
- When the contact you desire appears in the list, you may click on the name to select it.
- Should the contact not exist within the system, complete the name of the contact and click out of the Volunteer Field.
- This will cause the Add Contact popup to appear from whence you can fill in additional information about that contact, to be added to the system.
- Click Save when you have completed entering in the contacts information.
- Next select the Venue at which the activity will take place, or select No Venue if this activity has not particular venue.
- From the Shift field, select from the shifts previously configured that the volunteer will be assigned to.
- The Position field allows you to specify which position within an activity the volunteer is volunteering for.
- After you have made your selection from the preceding fields, notice that the data on the right has been auto-populated for you.
- Next you can determine the exact days of the week the volunteer is available by selecting the Select by Day of Week radio button, and checking the days of the week from the drop down menu.
- If the volunteer is available for only certain dates, as opposed to days of the week, select the Select by Date radio button and check the boxes for the dates from the drop down menu.
- Use the Available From and Available Till field to specify the time frame in which the volunteer has agreed to volunteer.
- The Available From Time and Available Till Time fields allow you to specify what times of the day the volunteer is available.
- Once you have finished configuring the new volunteer click the Save button and the volunteer will be added to the list below.
- If a volunteer is to work at multiple venues, shifts or positions, add them again for each variation.
- To edit a volunteer you have added mouse over their name and click on the Edit(Pencil) button that appears to the left of their name.
- This will once again show their information at the top, which you can edit as you did when you first added them.
- To remove a volunteer, click on the Delete(X) button that appears to the left of their name, and confirm the removal.
