With the release of a new build, users may experience some irregularities in their CRM or Connect account such as the appearance of strange code, blank screens/modules, lack of word wrapping, etc. These issues are related to the need to clear your browser cache and/or to log out and back in to the system in order to get the new updates. If you continue to experience difficulties after clearing your cache and re-logging in, please email us at support@fundly.com.

Coming Soon - Sub-Chapters Psst...big news! Coming this month... SUB-CHAPTERS! What are sub-chapters? Well, we're glad you asked! Sub-chapters are a way for an organization to share data with affiliated organizations, while maintaining separate databases/systems. For example, state or local affiliates of a national organization can have their own Fundly CRM v2 database but share/send data to the national headquarter's Fundly CRM v2 database, or partner organizations in a multi-agency collaborative can share data across agencies while maintaining separate systems. Or an organization can "franchise" or replicate the database structure of their Fundly CRM v2 system - all of their configurations, custom data sets, etc. - and populate that structure to their sub-chapters so that everyone is using a consistent set up and capturing the same information. The uses are endless! |

'Unsubscribe' Email Placeholder When sending mass emails, it is not uncommon to receive responses from volunteers wanting to unsubscribe from them. We now have added an ‘Unsubscribe’ placeholder which adds a link at the bottom of the email to unsubscribe. Once the volunteer clicks on that link, it will deactivate their email preference so they don’t get mass emails going forward.

Require Phone and/or Address for Emergency Contact When requiring Emergency Contact on volunteer signup, it will now allow you to select whether to require phone and/or address as well. In order to turn these on/off, just go to Configurations and then Volunteer Signup. |
Default Format for Mobile Phone Entry throughout the System There were places in the system where mobile phone entry did not have any format. We have made sure that the format is default so all mobile phone numbers entered in the system are correct. |
Format Change for the Calendar Picker Before, the calendar picker started on a ‘Monday’, which confused some users especially when they were looking at the calendar at the same time. Now, we have changed the calendar picker to start on a ‘Sunday’. |

Ability for Admin to Update Team Captain/Co-Captain Non-profit organization admins sometimes manage team profiles. It will be a lot easier for them to update a team’s information, especially changing Captains/Co-Captains, if they can do it from the Admin side so we allowed them to do just that. They can now go in the team’s profile to change their Captain/Co-Captain. |
Report: Member-Team Association Did you want to pull up a report which would tell you if a volunteer is a member of a team? We can now help you with that! We have recently added the ‘Team Name’ field to pull up that information. On your report, just find the ‘Team Name’ field under ‘Volunteers’ criteria. Select that as a field on your report so once you execute, it will show you the team(s) that the volunteer is a member of. |
Volunteer Time Off Schedule Notification When scheduling a time off for volunteers, it will send them a notification email on those dates. Now, we have included information on impacted opportunities so they are informed which opportunities are affected and on which dates. |
Volunteer Profile Update Notification We have added a new email notification which is the ‘Volunteer Profile Update Notification’ which is a notification sent to all associated organizations of a volunteer whose profile has been updated. This will be allow organizations to be updated on volunteer information changes like address and contact numbers. This notification is Inactive by default so if you want to be notified on these changes, just go to ‘Configurations’, then ‘Email Notifications’ to enable this notification. |
Schedule Details on the View Schedule Window Having difficulty editing schedules because you can’t straightaway determine which schedule you should be editing? We have added the dates/schedule details on the ‘View Schedule’ so you can identify the schedules at a glance. You can still look at the individual dates by clicking on the ‘View Dates’ button. |
Note on Volunteer Requirement When Configuring Shift We have added a note on the shift configuration popup which says: “The position related fields will auto populate to 0 if user does not enter any value. 0 means unlimited capacity.” This will prevent any confusion when creating a shift and limiting the number of required volunteers. |
Removing 'Select Current Screen' Are you worried that you can't find the ‘Select Current Screen’ option anywhere? We have removed this option since users will be able to manage/select volunteers from a list easier with the use of our search and ‘action’ buttons. If you want to perform an action to ‘All’ volunteers on that list, just click on the ‘All Search Results’ dropdown then select the action. A lot simpler, right? |
