Great New Things From Fundly CRM |
![]() Introducing Express View Reports Reporting is getting a make over and the introduction of some very cool new features! The reports index screen and navigation will be replaced with the Exago interface to allow us to incorporate tips and navigational aids to help users get around inside of reports. In addition, users will be able to open and run multiple reports at one time (!!!). ![]() New reports will be created from the "+" in the upper left. ![]() Another new cool feature is that the list of configured/saved reports (accessible from the "page" icon in the upper left) will display the report type icon next to it, so that without even opening the report, you'll be able to see what kind of report it is. ![]() ![]() We have also incorporated Exago's new Express View (different from Express Reports). Express View is a slimmed down "drag and drop" interface that allows users to create basic reports quickly and easily (eliminating the multiple steps used by Basic Reports and Standard Reports. ![]() Users can easily add totals/summation, grouping, and filtering to Express View reports using the intuitive, contextual menus. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Users can also add charts to Express View simply by clicking a button. ![]() For those who need more sophisticated/advanced reporting options, Express Reports, Standard Reports, and Cross Tab reports will also still be available. Other changes include renaming "enhanced reports" (user defined/created reports) to "custom reports" on the main menu and renaming "standard reports" to "advanced reports," and the ability for users to manage scheduled reports on their own (including editing the schedule and stopping scheduled reports). We're super excited for these changes and we know you will be, too! Join us on July 5th or 12th to see an overview of all of the changes. We will also be offering a Basic Reporting webinar covering the new Express View on July 20th and an Intermediate Reporting webinar on July 27th to cover creating and editing standard/advanced reports. Visit fundlyevent.com to register. New Communications Flow The communication module is also getting a significant upgrade. All of the various communication options (newsletters, donation acknowledgements, and labels and letters) will be gathered in one index area under the main menu, rather than split into separate areas as they are now. ![]() ![]() In addition, creating the template/content file is incorporated into the workflow for creating a new communication as the very first step, rather than as a separate step. When users create a new communication, they will be taken to the brand new template index area. ![]() In addition, we're adding some new base/master templates, templates will indicate if they are optimized for email or print, and the template editor interface is getting some changes to make all of the functions/features more apparent. ![]() ![]() ![]() We'll be providing a sneak peek of the changes during the sneak peek webinars on July 5th and July 12th as well as in our "Communicating with Contacts" webinar on July 25th. Please be sure to join us on either July 5th or July 12th to get an overview of these changes in advance of their release (planned release date is July 17th). Since these changes are substantial, we are encouraging EVERYONE to attend one of the sneak peek sessions as well as the various module specific webinars/training sessions.
